"Bønn for Oslo 2004" ("Prayer for Oslo")
During the prayer-week she did seminars at the Temple corps and on the Friday night in the Church she preached the sermon which I will never forget. As she started to preach, she grabbed my hand and held it for the whole sermon - I don't know why she did it, however I think it was a strong sign of unity in the Spirit - I felt it that way, and may be the attenders (full church) felt it the same way.
Rachel Hickson formed HEARTCRY in the autumn of 1993. Since then, Rachel and her team have travelled widely throughout the UK, speaking at church seminars or services, Bible schools, Evangelistic events, school and university Christian Unions as well as at national conferences. She travels internationally visiting Europe, North America, Africa and India.
Invitations come from various denominational backgrounds, and frequently from regional fraternals,
where a passion for unity has brought the churches together to pray for a move of God in their area.
Since the mid-90s Rachel and her husband Gordon have had Norway on their hearts, and are
frequent visitors on prayer-events in Norway untill this present time (2026).
