"The Strategy for Growth Conference" in London in 1989 - That I was sent from Norway to this event was only because I had notified leadership that we should focus on "Church Growth" in our courses for officers in our territory. I had just seen this spreading as priority in most denominations.
I was not aware that TSA internationally had discovered the same. However this course was one of the best events I have ever been to in TSA, and since then, Commissioner Cutmore who led the conference became a person whom I could confide in and use as a mentor.

When the 'Toronto-blessing' hit our corps in Bergen in the autumn of 1994. I felt I needed to share it with a Sr. officer whom I knew to be open, so I asked if I could come and see him when he was the Principal of the International College for Officers. I was greeted with warmth and he was so exited to hear about it, that he stopped me after a few sentences: "my assisting principal needs to hear this, I will call her and ask her to join us!". That was how I met Lynette Pearce for the first time. She was just as open for The Holy Spirit's work in all the aspects and forms. We have also met her later and listened to her excellent preaching!.
Biography
Ian Cutmor's wife Nancy had the same passion as Ian, and when the moment came when it was time for promotion to glory - Nancy went first, and Ian two days later.
